Mobile notaries

A booking website for mobile notaries

You are on the road most of the day and the phone rings while you are notarising. NotaryBook takes the booking, checks it against your calendar and service area, collects the deposit and texts the customer the confirmation — while you finish the signing.

Sounds familiar?

The pain we built NotaryBook around

  • Missed calls while you are with a client become lost jobs

  • No-shows on a 40-minute drive

  • Quoting travel fees by hand, every time

  • Directory listings with three different phone numbers

What NotaryBook does about it

Built for mobile notaries

Online booking with deposits

Customers pick a service and a slot, pay a deposit or in full, and the slot is held.

Per-service durations, travel buffers, deposit rules (none, fixed, percent, full) and intake questions. A slot is held for 30 minutes while Stripe Checkout completes; abandoned checkouts release it automatically. Mobile services check the address against your service area before booking.

Google Calendar sync

Availability is your hours minus what is already on your calendar.

Connect Google once. Busy time on your personal or work calendar blocks slots automatically, and every confirmed booking is written back as an event with the customer's name, phone and address, so your day is in one place.

Text confirmations and reminders

Confirmation on booking, reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before, a review ask afterwards.

Customers opt in at booking. Replies work: C to cancel, R to ask for a new time, STOP to opt out. You get a text when something needs your attention. A dedicated number is assigned to your business.

AI receptionist by text and phone

Answers after-hours questions, quotes prices from your own price list, and books.

The receptionist works from the services, prices, hours and service area you configured and uses the same availability engine as the site. It can propose slots, create a booking and send the payment link. Anything it cannot answer is handed to you with the transcript. Voice runs on the same tools.

Local SEO and AI-search ready

Service-by-city pages, structured data, sitemap and an llms.txt, generated for you.

Clear service, price and service-area pages with LocalBusiness, Service, Offer and FAQ structured data; a landing page for each service in each city you serve; robots rules that welcome Google, Bing and the AI answer engines; and a plain-text summary so ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude can find your real prices and hours.

Review requests, listings and a weekly digest

Ask for reviews automatically, keep your business details consistent everywhere, see the week at a glance.

Completed bookings trigger a review request with your Google link. The listings manager keeps your name, address, phone and description identical across Google Business Profile, Apple, Bing, Yelp and the rest. Monday morning you get one email: bookings, revenue, cancellations, reviews and suggested posts.

Questions mobile notaries ask

Can I charge per signature?

Services are priced as a base fee plus optional travel fee. California's $15 per-signature cap is best modelled as a base price for the typical signing count, with the remainder collected at the appointment; per-signature line items are on the roadmap.

How are travel fees handled?

A flat travel fee per mobile booking, added automatically when the customer chooses a mobile service. Out-of-area addresses are declined before payment.

What happens if I get a same-day cancellation?

Customers cancel by text or link; the slot reopens immediately and your deposit rule decides what is kept. You get a text and the booking shows as cancelled with the reason.
